What’s ETP’s signature play guide?
The Play By Play Guide was created to help proactive parents increase their child’s language and communication skills through play.
This accessible 79-page PDF includes over 50+ play prompt options, clinical expertise, and interactive worksheets designed to help you start, play, track progress, and apply foundational concepts with your little one.
Is this guide a replacement for therapy?
This resource is not intended to provide therapy or be a replacement for any therapeutic involvement.
While the guide providing instruction is a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in their respective state, they are not providing therapy in this guide.
By purchasing the Play By Play Guide, you are agreeing that no therapist/client relationship is being formed between you and the guide providing instruction or between you and Elevate Toddler Play.
WHO IS IT FOR?
Parents of toddlers ages 1-5.
The ETP Guides are for anyone who wants to be proactive in increasing their toddler’s language and communication skills.
Playing with our children and creating a series of meaningful interactions doesn’t have to be a chore. Many parents don’t know what to play or what to say and they’re limited on time. As a result, play is pushed to the side and we’re left with a hope they get what they need along the way. Research continues to show that play and language skills are interconnected.
You can’t afford to wait any longer. It’s time to start understanding what vocabulary and concepts to teach your child so they can communicate effectively. As parents, we have the power to unlock their potential.
WHAT TOYS ARE INCLUDED IN THE PLAY GUIDE?
Farm, bubbles, blocks, house, vehicles, ball, dolls/stuffed animals, nesting + stacking, food + kitchen, and musical instruments.
We encourage you to use what you already own! At the same time, we offer a list of open-ended toys we personally use during therapy sessions and highly recommend to parents.
Get ready to learn practical ways you can play with new toys and extend the life of "old" ones!
DO YOU OFFER REFUNDS?
We don’t. If you’re still wondering how our play guides might enhance your child’s language and communication skills, the question isn’t, “Am I going to use everything in this guide?” (Because there is a lot.) The question is: Am I going to use it enough that makes it worth the money? The guide won’t work if you don’t. 🙂

The Monthly Play Date
When will I receive my letter? Can I track it?
We ship all Monthly Playdate envelopes on the 15th of each month.
If you subscribe before the 15th, your first letter will be the upcoming month’s Playdate.
If you subscribe after the 15th, your first letter will be the following month’s Playdate.
(For example: December sign-ups receive January’s Playdate.)
We ship from the USA.
Shipping is included for U.S. subscribers.
International shipping is a flat $2.
Tracking isn’t available at this time, but if your letter hasn’t arrived within 4 weeks of shipping, simply email us and we’ll send a replacement.

Please note: we can’t resend letters if more than 2 months have passed since the ship date.
How can I update my address?
You can update your address, payment details, or pause/cancel your subscription anytime through your customer account portal.
Accidentally typed your address wrong? No need to stress, friend! Just email us and we’ll fix it before your next Playdate heads out.
When will I be billed?
Your subscription renews on the same day of the month you originally signed up.
What comes in each Monthly Playdate?
Every envelope includes:
A Monthly Play Calendar
A sticker sheet to celebrate your month
4 Play & Learn Cards (simple play ideas, a focused learning target, and helpful vocabulary to model)
A monthly die-cut sticker
And yes… we love adding a little surprise now and then.
